Make your Skin Winter Ready

Winter is a fun season but for those with dry skins. They remain confined to their homes for the fear of flaking when they step out. However, dry skin should not be the reason for you to miss all the winter fun. You don’t want to miss the snowboarding, snow ball fighting etc. Don’t just pull out that scarf to hide behind, see these tips to get great tips for winter season.

Use Humidifier
Did you know that while heaters inside our homes keep us warm and cozy, they also suck the moisture out of our skin? Always use humidifier to bring the moisture back into the air that will avoid your skin from drying out.

Use good foot cream
Skin is not just the face but our entire body. Always apply good quality cream on your feet to keep them soft and from cracking. Also remember to exfoliate every now and then to remove the dead skin. Look for lotions that contain glycerin or petroleum jelly as they moisturize your skin deeply.

Special care for the hands
If you are the one whose hands become especially dry during winters, you should always keep some moisturizer handy. When you wash your hands, use additional lather and don’t forget to wear gloves when you step outside the house.

Give adequate moisturizing to your skin
With the help of moisturizing, you can keep your skin smooth in the winters and soft during summers and spring. When the season changes, look for a cream that is oil based. This oil helps in creating a protective layer that keeps the moisture intact and in place. Also don’t forget to use good quality sunscreen, even in winters.
